Erinn Thompson and the history of Bloom...
After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in Marketing, I decided that I wanted to pursue my creative side, and I began working in the cosmetic industry. I then realized my strong interest in the skincare industry. I was always obsessed with my own skin, and loved helping other people learn more about their own. I decided to attend Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, where I received my license in skincare/makeup in 2001, and from then I have been educating myself on skin and the spa industry.
After working and managing a European Spa, I was given the wonderful opportunity to travel and research different spas on the east coast. I came to love the small intimate skincare shops I found, and I am trying to replicate that using my own creative ideas. I have also developed an exciting treatment menu using Rhonda Allison a wonderful line using organic ingredients, and soon to come a lovely array of organic soaps, candles, lotions, and environmental friendly products.
I am so excited about being a part of redevelopment of Lawrenceville, and to get involved in charity work such as, The Womens Shelter of Pittsburgh, and many other exciting endeavors.
